Big Licks 

I’ve been to Booths Music,

I’ve seen this guitar, 

I’ve give’ it big licks, 

could be gettin’ my kicks, on the A666

my face is squashed against the window, droolin’

Thinking who am I foolin’ 

I can’t afford that, 

Who invented, WHO invented VAT?

 Then someone says, “have you considered easy terms?” 

Mmm, easy terms, that makes me squirm, but easy terms, mmm

“you could have it now and play while you pay

you could take it and shake it and make it today.”

now I’m thinkin’.. my wah,wah’s wuzzin’’

my fuzz is fuzzin’ my frets are buzzin’

I’d have to work from dawn til’ dusk

at weekends I would have to busk,

So, then I’m in Booths

And I’ve signed on the line

Now that guitar is mine all mine,

Well it will be, in one years time
