Moonlight Shadow plays on the juke box

‘your drinks please it’s time to go’

I used to play that song for her

now I’m playing it on my own

lights extinguished in the bar room

memories in the alcoves now harmed

it’s where we used to kiss

now just the shadows leave their mark.
