A pre-National Poetry Day reading on 28 September with Moniza Alvi, Simon Armitage, Jackie Kay and Nick Laird, hosted by Joan Bakewell. As this year's National Poetry Day theme is ‘Identity’ we will be asking the poets who they really are, in Poems of Identity in a Changing World. Coming from Scotland, Hertfordshire, Yorkshire and Northern Ireland, but also Pakistan and Africa, the poets will search for identities and personae in ancient myth, Eastern Europe, and poetry itself, to reveal themselves to us.

Entry: £10/£5 (Tickets)

Time: 7:30pm
