The first in a series of quarterly seminars to discuss the literature,
history, science & medicine of the Long Nineteenth Century (to include the Late Romantics through to the start of the First World War).
The University of Salford presents:-
1). Jan Golinski (University of New Hampshire) - 'Revolution in the Public
Mind: the Irish Science of Richard Kirwan'.
2). Amber Regis (Keele University) - 'Erasing Digression from the Memoirs
of John Addington Symonds'.
3). Brian Maidment (University of Salford) - 'The Morphology of Mishap -
London "Miseries" 1810 - 1850'.
4). Francesca Scott (University of Warwick) - 'Mary Robinson, Charlotte
Smith & the Female Body'.
