A festival closing-night ‘Word Up’ feast of poets, MCs, vocalists, spoken word impresarios, DJs and illustrators, co-curated by Melanie Abrahams and Charlie Dark.
Guest appearance by Southbank Artist in Residence Lemn Sissay. Featuring John Agard, Spaceape, Caroline Bird, Michael Horovitz, Daljit Nagra, Rinse, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Nii Ayikwei Parkes and Deborah Stevenson. With live graffiti art and limited edition prints by Remi/Rough. Music by Charlie Dark and guests.
Plus, a free pre-show discussion and performance event at 6pm in the Level 5 Function Room.
