The evening begins with legendary poet, musician and painter Billy Childish. Childish will traverse the path of poetry before cumulating into a blues inspired set, all pieced together with wry and witty anecdotes to beguile and unrest your ego.
Next is ‘A bANdA dA', an audio performance based project by Mike Chavez-Dawson in collaboration with Stratton Barrett, Sam Hubbard, Chris Taylor and Matthew Herod, their current sound is post tex-mex inspired, they don the attire of Neo-Mariachi Desperados that were specifically designed by Amechi Ihenacho.
Last but not least: Back from his forgotten tour of the Bermuda Triangle…Norman Clayture, the wooden underpants wearing Balladeer is fully primed. So unblock your ears, stick your eyes open with matchsticks, and raise your glasses to the romance and power of songs from Country, and Western.
