The event will be held at the Cafe, "Caffetessen", in the castle.
"If poetry be the food of love, write on," features work with a food and love theme by members of the Pennine Lancashire Poetry Stanza. It's part of the Pennine Lancashire Festival of Food and Culture.
It will also showcase poet and primary school teacher Cynthia Kitchen, from Preston, whose first collection, Uphill and Dangerously, was recently published to critical acclaim by Headland.
Cynthia will be supported by Pennine Lancashire poets Jo Harding, Theresa Robson, Mark Russell-Smith, Phil Burton, Lynne Taylor and Aftab Ahmed, whose work has been published in anthologies and magazines.
