Join us for a fantastic night of spoken word cabaret featuring one of the country’s most exciting performance poets.
Lemn Sissay is one of the best known poets in the UK and is regular to stage and screen. Television appearances range from The South Bank Show to BBC’s hit series Grumpy Old Men, where he remains the youngest panel member. He has been a regular contributor on BBC Radio Four’s Saturday Live and Simon Mayo’s Book Panel.contributor.

Also 3 North East spoken word talents: Sheree Mack is one of the region’s most exciting voices in poetry. Founder of Identity on Tyne and former writer in residence at The Lit & Phil in Newcastle, she has been published widely including in Diamond Twig Press. Teesside Poetry Stalwarts Bob Beagrie and Andy Willoughby have performed widely in both the UK and abroad as Ek Zuban. Their show Sampo is being developed for touring and they are a guaranteed two man verbal roller – coaster!
