Just off Oxford St. Tube: Tottenham Court Road or Oxford Circus. Buses: 134, 14, 24, 390, 29, 10.

This is the last Ambit reading at The Bath House which is due to be be demolished to make way for a Crossrail station. So join us for a bittersweet evening of poetry and prose hosted by Martin Bax.

Euron Griffith and Catherine Smith will be reading their poetry and David Gaffney will be making the trip from Stockport to read his prose.

Readers from the floor, as always, welcome (one page max)!

David Gaffney, author of Sawn-off Tales (2006), Aromabingo (2007), Never Never (2008), gave us his ‘Destroy Powerpoint’ last time. In June he premiered 23 Stops to Hull at the Humber Mouth Literature Festival, mini stories for every junction of the M62.

Euron Griffith lives in Cardiff. His work has appeared in several magazines and anthologies. He has also written for television and radio. Recipient of a Writer’s Bursary from Academi, the Welsh National Literature Promotion Agency, he is working on a novel.

Catherine Smith’s latest poetry collection, Lip (Smith/Doorstop) was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection.
