Jacob Sam-La Rose, a poet of Guyanese heritage concerned with the evolution of culture and tradition in memorialising losses and celebrating gains, as well as the notion and power of transformation and synthesis in art and everyday life reads alongside Aoife Mannix, an Irish poet and novelist interested in storytelling, memory, place and identity. They discuss their readings of each other’s work and how their leanings affect their work.
