Topolski Century: Spoken Word Event
This event on 5th November 2009 has past.
Open Mic Event
Yes that's right, this month's open mic poetry session at Topolski Century happens to fall on England's favourite celebration of treason.
Come share your words in Felik Topolski's under-the-arches labyrinth of painting. We might even do a screening of an old school Casper the Friendly Ghost short.
Launch of London Creative's 'Polish Roots' photography exhibition, featuring portraits of (but not by) Micheal Nyman and Adam Ficek from Babyshambles.
And afterwards we'll all go outside with a bunch of Guy Fawkes effigies and steal whatever firework display we can see from the river.
Feature Acts:
Loveable Irish gem Racker Donnelly
Fascinatingly surreal duo Kirsten Irving and Jon Stone
and speedy talking wordplayer Harry Baker
plus your charming host Abi Palmer!
Entry: £3/2 performers/concessions
Time: 7:30 p.m.
