Description: This is an informal poetry café which aims to encourage local poets to come together to share their work and explore modern approaches to poetry. It will mainly feature poems written by members of the audience.
However, to start the evening Chrissy Banks (Days of Fire and Flood, Watching the Home Movies) will be our guest poet. She will talk about such questions as why write poetry and how to approach publication but the main emphasis will be on the topics the audience would like to discuss.
