Poetry Wales in Bangor

All are invited to come along to this reading of recent work by two Bangor poets, also featuring a launch of the new issue of Poetry Wales.

Ian Gregson’s latest book of poems is How We Met (Salt, 2008). Call Centre Love Song, a selection of his poems, was shortlisted for the prestigious Forward Prize. He has published poems and reviews in the London Review of Books, the TLS and Poetry Review, amongst others.

Zoë Skoulding is the Editor of Poetry Wales. Her most recent collections of poems are Remains of a Future City (Seren, 2008), long-listed for Wales Book of the Year 2009, and The Mirror Trade (Seren, 2004).

Before the reading, Zoë and Ian will be in discussion about their work at 5pm in the Main Arts building of Bangor University. It is part of an undergraduate English module but members of the public are welcome.
