Another chance to catch up with some of the finest poets and wordsmiths in the Cockermouth area. Ann the poet (ex South Cumbria Poet Laureate) will host the event with her energetic and engaging style and she'll perform a short set (www.annthpoet.com) . There's a chance to see a whole host of performers at the open mic and our guest poet is Geraldine Green. Geraldine,who lives in Cumbria and teaches at the University, has read widely in UK, USA and Europe and has published two collections “Skin” and “Passio”. Open mic performers sign up on the door by 7.40pm or e-mail kate@thekirkgate.com to be sure of your slot.
