"Well, we've had World Book Day and International Women's Day, so it must be time for our all-female open mic. If you fancy yourself as the next big thing on the poetry scene, jive on down to the Vibe Bar and take the proverbial mic (but arrive in good time to ensure a slot).
Fronted by the buoyant Liz Bentley ('A female Ivor Cutler' -The Scotsman), and featuring guest artists Lucy Leagrave and Deanna Rodger, this is another hot product from top poetry promoters Apples & Snakes."
Entry: £3/2 for those doing floorspots
