POETRY LONDON presents Isobel Dixon, Sally Read, Roisin Tierney upstairs at 'The Wheatsheaf'
Three wonderful poets: Isobel Dixon, Sally Read and Roisin Tierney join forces for poems both graceful and disgraceful, introduced by your gracious host, Simon Barraclough.
Isobel Dixon: Weather Eye (Carapace) and A Fold in the Map (Salt). Gracing us from The Karoo, South Africa and Cambridge. "Isobel Dixon’s a real talent I believe ... you end up liking the poet a lot after reading this book, which is too rare an event in poetry." – David Morley
Sally Read: The Point of Splitting and Broken Sleep (both Bloodaxe). Gracing us from Santa Marinella, Lazio in Italy. "Direct, searing, and very, very truthful" – Bonnie Greer.
Roisin Tierney: published in Ask for it by Name (Unfold Press) and Gobby Deegan's Riposte (Donut). Gracing us from North London, Dublin and the Spanish/Italian border. A beguiling writer of quirky visionary poems.
