A one day symposium - topics will include:
poetry in medical settings (oncology, HIV-AIDS, heart disorders, childhood illness ...); doctor poets (William Carlos Williams); poets inspired by personal illness and medical themes (Jiri Wolker); poetry in the consultation; creative health professionals; medical inspirations for poetry (anatomy; poisoning in Shakespeare's writings ...).
