If you think you know poetry, think again. How many poets do you know that have performed with Frankie Boyle and Andy Parsons or toured Canada? How many support bands or travel the country inspiring hundreds of school children a week? Ash Dickinson is one.
Describing his poetry as a cross between stand-up comedy, theatre and rap, Ash brings his Edinburgh Fringe one-man show to Bunkers Hill on Friday 16 April. Originally from Nottingham, Ash is a multiple slam champion (“imagine Britain’s Got Talent...with talent”) and in his first show in the city for two years he promises to tackle subjects as diverse as Facebook, the rubbishness of men’s fashion and having his fridge fall in love with him.
