If you’re a poetry fan and looking for an evening in east London of some of the UK’s top performance poets then Stratford Circus has the night for you as we present a four pronged attack by some of the most exciting and exhilarating live literature performers.
Chortle award winner 2009 John Hegley graces our stage for the second time, confirming that east London is where it’s at. Hawaii-born live artist Stacy Makishi is destined to make you jump in your seat, sharing her poem ‘Around the World in a Lunar Day’. Electrifying performance poet Patience Agbabi reinvents the script with her euphoric and impacting prose. And the ever exuberant Luke Wright holds proceedings together with all the wit and ditties you would expect from a self proclaimed Poet Laureate.
