An exciting new series of events to be held every two months, featuring precocious talent from the arenas of music, stand-up poetry and theatre.
This month headliner is Elvis McGonagall, one of the poets in residence from Radio 4's 'Saturday Live', and Bettina Flater (Spain/Norway) - part of a wave of young, talented, exciting and original players taking flamenco guitar in a new direction, fusing it with her own songs. She has played in all the best Spanish theatres and all around the world.
Jackie Juno - a locally sourced free-range organic performance poetwho has thrilled audiences from Penzance to London, from Glastonbury to Amsterdam, from Totnes to ... er...Newton Abbot, with her wonderfully wicked and witty wordage.
Supporting are Faith Burch and Rob Johns with their haunting vocals, heartfelt lyrics and gorgeous harmonies, and Harry Hornsey with his sweet n lowdown ragtime and country blues. One more act to be announced!
