Launch: Poetry Review Summer 2010
This event on 7th July 2010 at 19:00 has past.
In the Conference Centre, with Ruth Padel.
'Off the Page', the summer issue of Britain's leading poetry magazine, Poetry Review, is a celebration of poetry in action - in performance, across art forms and in Britain's thriving workshop culture.
Providing the action this evening is prize-winning poet Ruth Padel, who will read new work. A discussion will follow, in which she and Fiona Sampson explore themes emerging from the issue.
Padel's latest collection, Darwin: A Life in Poems, was shortlisted for the Costa Poetry Award. She has just published a novel, Where the Serpent Lives.
