Open Mic Event
Sixteen poets will enter the ring but only one will be the winner and carry away the fantastic big money prize and the prestigious title of Bare Knuckle Poetry Slam Champion 2010.
The poets compete in pairs and then the audience votes. They decide who wins and who goes home with a bloody nose. It’s slam poetry but not as we know it, it will be brutal, the ring will be littered with the verbs and adjectives of the fallen but from the sweat and spit will emerge one winner to take the prize and the title.
