Open Mic Event
Contact: iango@hotmail.com
Our bohemian open-mic night is held on the second Wednesday of each month, in the upper room of this atmospheric city centre pub in the shadow of Liverpool's Anglican cathedral.
The theme for the night on Wednesday 14 July is "Men and Women", stating at 8pm.
The theme on Wednesday 11 August is "Truth and Justice"; and on Wednesday 7 September, "The 1970s".
LIVERpoetry! is an independent performance poetry night, run by Steve Regan and Ieuan Cilgwri.
All our open mic nights start at 8pm. Put your name down to perform, or just sit back, watch / listen and enjoy.
All LIVERpoetry! nights are free admission. We will not, on principle, charge admission for poetry nights.
Even our Grand Liverpool Poetry competiton, held at the Pilgrim in June 2010, was free-to-enter. Congratulations to the top prize-winner, Chris Co (£100), and runners up, Pete Crompton (£30) and Stella (£20)!
Entry: Free
Time: 8:00pm
