Open Mic Event

Thelma Laycock lives in Leeds and is a poet and retreat leader. She was editor/reviewer of 'Gabriel' for eight years. Her work is widely published in magazines and anthologies and translated into Hebrew, Italian and Romanian.

June English lives in Deal, Kent. She has published three collections of poetry including her latest, Sunflower Equations (Hearing Eye 2009). "You should read these poems for their strange insight into human nature, and for their shocking accuracy in revealing it" - U.A. Fanthorpe and R.V. Bailey.

Readers from the floor welcome (two poems). Tea and biscuits will be served.
