Formed back in the era of pagers, the poll tax and Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Merton Poetry Group is still going strong. Members have been legion, and their collected works could fill a small potting-shed. As a matter of fact, they do. Join the poets tonight as they reflect on their longevity and read some of the poems that have helped to put SW20 on the literary map. They're always looking for new members, too (well, someone will need to keep things going in 2030). And to think that it all started with a grainy photo in the Wimbledon Guardian...
