Meg Peacock & Neil Curry
This event on 26th November 2010 has past.
Meg Peacock's prize-winning and widely published poems are written with an exceptional clarity and an unsparing honesty. She brings a cool yet compassionate eye to themes ranging from her powerful connection to the natural world, to contemplations upon the brevity of existence. Meg received the Cholmondeley Award for distinguished poets in 2005.
Acclaimed writer and poet Neil Curry has published several collections of poetry, as well as critical studies, reflections on the Cumbrian coast and widely performed versions of Euripides. Combined with his vast knowledge of myth and literature, and an uncanny ability to conjure a sense of place, Neil's meditative, witty, observant and beautifully crafted poems are beguiling.
