As part of his Bring and Share series, Birmingham’s Poet Laureate, Roy McFarlane would like you to join him for a night of lyrical uplifting poetry and spoken word dedicated to mothers everywhere. You can join in by bringing a poem (one that you’ve written, or one from a poet you love), bring your mum, bring a loved one and bring your friends and register to get a slot to read at this event.

The guest poets on the night will be Julie Boden, Barrington Gordon, Maggie Doyle, Alan McGeachie and Prudencia. You can also share your poems on stage (either by reading it yourself or asking one of the guest poets to read it on your behalf).

Time: 7:30pm
