Alongside his poetry, John Haynes has written several books on language, African poetry, and continues to teach.
Tim Liardet is Professor of Poetry at Bath Spa University whose work as been a Poetry Book Society Special Commendation, long-listed for the 1998 Whitbread Poetry Prize and won an Arts Council England Writer's Award.
Fiona Sampson's published work includes Rough Music (shortlisted for the 2010 Forward and T.S. Eliot Prizes) and A Century of Poetry Review (PBS Special Commendation, 2009).
Carole Satyamurti, a poet and sociologist, won the National Poetry Competition in 1986, a Cholmondeley Award in 2000 and has received PBS recommendations for her collections.
