Andover's first ever poetry slam!

Co-hosted by Atmosfear founder, poet extraordinaire, and all-round good guy MARCUS GEORGE BURNS and singing, slamming happy hippy HATTIE SNOOKS, Atmoslam is a bi-monthly night of wordy wonders, where 8 poets compete in an open competition for your love, affection and adoration as well as a shiny prize of some description.

Each poet has 3 minutes to do their thing and they will be scored olympic-style by a posse of judges. The winner wins. Simple as that.

We also have lined up a gaggle of gorgeous guest poets gagging to show you their lyrical skill:

This month MICHAEL JAMES PARKER, co-presenter of Hammer and Tongue Brighton and excitable Golden Retriever of a man, is coming to rock our poetry socks off with his tales of pigeons, Glastonbury and Darth Vader.

Our poetry stall sells books written by local and national poets, as well as essential writer supplies such as notebooks and pens for when your creative juices start flowing.

At the insanely good price of £3.50/£2.50 (for slammers), Atmoslam is a night not to be missed!

Entry: £3.50/£2.50 slammers

Time: 7:00pm
