In Lipman Lecture Theatre

Northumbria University’s Department of Humanities hosts an evening with Canadian experimental poet Christian Bok. Christian’s Eunoia won the Griffin Poetry Prize in 2002 and went on to become a bestseller while Crystallography, a ‘pataphysical encyclopedia’ was nominated for the Gerald Lampet Award.

Christian has also created conceptual art and worked in science-fiction television by constructing artistic languages for Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict and Peter Benchley's Amazon. He and his art have been the subject of an episode of the Canadian television series, Heart of a Poet.

This free event is a great opportunity to meet Christian and hear about his latest work.
