Tim Ellis says: this should be a fantastic event, so do come if you can. I will be giving a half-hour performance from my new book, and there will be support readings from two fabulous Leeds poets: Amanda Wowk and Brendan McPartlan (host of the long-running Wicked Words Leeds event).

As if that wasn't good enough, there will also be live music from the renowned singer/songwriter Brian Madigan, who is coming all the way from Bath to entertain us. And there will be a slideshow too, showing some of mine and Robbie's finest holiday photos of some of the places featured in the book.

The Black Swan, if you don't already know it, is a treat in itself. A genuine Elizabethan building complete with oak panelling, wooden beams, nooks and crannies, ghosts, and a fine selection of local ales. There's free parking (get a permit from the bar as soon as you arrive.)

Performances will start at 7.30 prompt, and I aim to have the readings finished by 9.30 in case anyone wants to get the last train at 10.11 back to Harrogate, but we have the room booked for the night so feel free to stay till closing if you wish.

Admission is £6 on the door, which will include a FREE copy of the book (normal price £6.50).
