Robin Bell is the second poet to feature in our ‘translations season’ which promises the same interest as the hugely successful ‘Homelands’ series at the beginning of the year.

Robin reads from his internationally acclaimed translations of the French, Italian and Latin poems of Mary, Queen of Scots. Robin Bell spent many years as a writer and broadcaster in New York and London, winning a Sony Radio Academy Award for Best British Documentary with Strathinver: A Portrait Album 1945-1953. He is also a winner of a Creative Scotland Award for How to Tell Lies, his fables on political processes of the G8.
