All are welcome at this international poetry reading celebrating connections between a range of Indian languages, Welsh, French and English. Meena Kandasamy, Sampurna Chattarji, Robin Ngangom, K. Satchidanandan, Menna Elfyn, Eurig Salisbury, Hywel Griffiths, Karen Owen and Jean Portante will be presenting their work.

Indian and Welsh poets currently working at the Tŷ Newydd Writers' Centre will present new translations of each other's work made as part of Writers’ Chain, a continuing project initiated by the British Council and Wales Arts International in partnership with Wales Literature Exchange that aims to develop cultural connections between Wales and India through literature.

The evening will also be the Welsh launch reading for the artist's book Ce qui advient et ce qui n'advient pas / What does and what doesn't come to pass (Redfox Press), a collaboration between artist Robert Brandy and poet Jean Portante, both from Luxembourg, with translations from the French by Zoë Skoulding.

Price: £3.00 / £2.00
