Two amazing poets, linked by Buddhist beliefs.

STEPHEN PARR was born in Darwen, Lancs. He has published many pamphlets of poetry, and had poems included in the landmark Bloodaxe anthology The Long Pale Corridor (1996). In 1999, he published his first full-length collection North of the Future (Windhorse Publications). In 2005, he won first prize in the Scintilla annual poetry competition. He now lives in Bristol and writes full-time.

STEVEN WALING has published several books, including Calling Myself on the Phone (Smith/Doorstop, 2003), Travelator (Salt, 2007), and Captured Yes (Knives, Forks & Spoons, 2011). He describes his poetry as looking at the world through several viewpoints at once; at least today he does. Tomorrow, he'll be of another opinion entirely.
