Meet Michael Waters and Roger Caldwell

The distinguished American poet, Michael Waters, will be reading from his Selected Poems, newly published by the Press. The great American poet, Louis Simpson has said of Michael Waters’ poetry that “no one’s writing better than this these days”, and Shoestring is delighted to be making Water’s poetry available for the first time in the UK.

He will be joined by Roger Caldwell, whose new collection, Waiting for World 93, will also be launched that evening. Roger Caldwell is a poet and critic whose work regularly appears in The Times Literary Supplement, PN Review, London Magazine, etc…
