Two shows from Bristol - area poets Jack Dean and Byron Vincent in one evening.
7PM: UNDER STOKES CROFT, Written and performed by Jack Dean, Illustrated by Hannah Jane Morley
Unknown to most, there is a large, clumsy, furry orange monster living in Stokes Croft. By day, he watches over its people and records their stories. By night, he wanders alone and paints their dreams. Or nightmares. [Running time Approx 1hr]
9:30PM: JELLYHEAD, Byron Vincent
If you’re going to fight a bully, ensure your back up isn’t an imaginary dwarf. Just one of many lessons learnt in the exploits of an awkward kid at odds with his council estate. From aspiration to exasperation, drugs, dance, music and disaffection. A true spoken story from Byron Vincent.
£4 entry to either show. Go to one and get a discount on pies from the Old Vic's cafe. PIES I TELL YOU.
Entry: £4 to either show
