Open Mic Event
Music and Poetry in Norway Square is held daily from 12.30-2.00pm and it's open mic. Hosted by poet and artist Bob Deveraux, it'll be friendly and fun. If you want to perform you just have a word with Bob beforehand.

I was in St Ives for the last week of this two week event and - next year I'll either be there EVERY day or else - well, I'm moving to St Ives! It was a really good festival, lots of other things on too - talks, films, gigs, workshops, open studios, even a ceramic pot firing session on the beach that went on all night. But, back to the square. Bob Deveraux leads these daily events and it's 50/50 musicians and poets and sometimes both at once. And it is totally joyous! I even had a go at singing - first time in public - not sure if that was joyous - well, I enjoyed it! So thanks to all those lovely talented people who took part, and the lovely audiences that we had. It was perfect!
