A Reading featuring
HELEN MORT winner of the Foyle Young Poets award, Eric Gregory Award, 2007, won the Manchester Young Writer prize in 2008 ¶ two pamphlets with tall-lighthouse press, the shape of every box and a pint for the ghost, which was a Poetry Book Society Choice.
MIKE BARLOW won the National Poetry Competition, 2006, won the Amnesty International and Ledbury competitions. His first collection won the Poetry Business Book and Pamphlet Competition and was shortlisted for the Jerwood Aldeburgh
Prize. Amicable Numbers was a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice.
PAT BORTHWICK: has won many poetry prizes, including the Amnesty International,
Blue Nose Poet of the Year, and the Templar Pamphlet Competition. several
pamphlets and three full collections.
ALLISON MCVETY: The Night Trotsky Came to Stay (Smith/Doorstop) was shortlisted
for the Forward Best First Collection Prize
CLARE SHAW ¶ Straight Ahead - Clare's first poetry collection from Bloodaxe and several other publications to her credit, published in several national journals and newspapers including the Guardian and the Daily Mirror ¶ won awards including a Forward Prize Highly Commended (2006).
