In The Captain’s Tower: Seventy Poets Celebrate Bob Dylan at Seventy poets from seven decades and of seven nationalities respond to the evolution of the Picasso of Song’s culturally defining, innovative and restless fifty year career within the history of recorded sound, invoking the canon of the spoken and written word in a show that combines poetry in performance with music.
Having toured the country from Hay to Latitude via the Troubadour, the editors Phil Bowen, Damian Furniss and David Woolley plus special guests will be bringing it all back home to Exeter where the book was conceived to round off the second Exeter Poetry Festival in style.
