A great event at the Waterside with an open mic and regular guests.
First time readers are especially welcome. Open mic spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. If you want a space, get there early as spaces go quickly!
All that, and your host Rod Tame will try to not get in the way too much... www.rodtame.com/rodtame.com/Home.html

An absolutely brilliant night, with a high standard of Open Mic talent before the three guests.
Rod Tame is a very friendly, encouraging and approachable host, and 'Open Micers' travelled from as far away as Yorkshire to participate.
A good balance of humour, feeling and genuinely beautiful poetry (and poets!). Go along next month for more fantastic guests and Open Mic talent.

Superb (and packed!) open mic segment - extremely diverse and consistently high standard unlike a few other events (not WOL) I've been to in the past. Only the 2nd open mic I've been to since moving to Manchester from Wolverhampton - took me a while to find the scene but I'm bloody glad I did! Excellently gregarious hosting by Rod Tame. Definitely a monthly occurrence for me now!
