Packing more punch than Vitali Klitschko, the final Tongue Fu of the year features poetry and comedy heavyweights, the UK’s freshest new spoken word talent and show-stopping improvisatory brilliance from the Tongue Fu Band (Nostalgia 77, Massive Attack).
Dan Antopolski – Comedian, actor, rapper(ish).. Triple Perrier Award nominee, star of BBC1’s The Standup Show, Radio 4’s ‘4 Stands Up’. ”Spectacular displays of verbal pyrotechnics ...confident, splendidly silly and sometimes dazzling” The Observer
Aoife Mannix – International performer, novelist, playwright, author of four poetry collections (Tall Lighthouse), regular on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live. “an instantly recognisable voice on the UK live literature scene for her accessible yet distinctly powerful verse” British Council
Liv Torc – Star of BBC Radio 4’s Wondermentalist Cabaret, Radio 4 South West Slam Winner, former Bard of Exeter (Yes bards still exist!) and a real live Druid who does the best Beard poem we’ve ever heard.
