Kei Miller is a Jamaican writer whose three poetry collections are Kingdom of Empty Bellies (Heaventree, 2006), There is an Anger That Moves (Carcanet, 2007), and A Light Song of Light (Carcanet, 2010). He is editor of New Caribbean Poetry, also from Carcanet (2007). His collection of short stories, A Fear of Stones, was shortlisted for the 2007 Commonwealth Writers First Book Prize. His debut novel, The Same Earth, was published in 2008 by Weidenfeld & Nicolson.
