AN EVENING OF ESOTERIA
THROUGH PROSE AND POETRY AN INVOCATION OF THE MYSTIC PAGAN FROM HIS SHADOWING WORLD.
Poet Nigel Humphreys, author of The Hawk’s Mewl and The Flavour of Parallel and with his third collection Of Moment on the publisher’s list, asks - where does the mystic go in his instant of gnosis? By way of readings from recent work he will attempt to coax the plausible from the improbable and introduce to Wales for the first time two London writers:
David Parry, literary impresario, author of Caliban’s Redemption and The Grammar of Witchcraft and founder of the Guntlers Internationl Arts Group will release from the bottle the dwarf hunchback Caliban who has much to say on the ethics of redemption, Saxon witchcraft and paganism
and Jonathan Wood, owner of the London publishing house BM Spellbound and imprint Arbor Vitae Press who will aim to chill blood with his personae - Quentin Astragarth, the cackling Mrs Paterson and the hermetic Curator, characters from his occasional journal Through the Woods and other published work.
