This collection has been endorsed by John Gilham, Paul Sutherland and Edd Cain, and are described by his publisher, Pauline Kirk as “...full of variety, but whether light-hearted or deeply serious, they are carefully crafted. They take us from England to the United States, India and places between. The journey is fascinating, thought provoking, and always entertaining.”
The evening will be supported by other readers and the incredible York duo, Bush and McCluskey.
An entry fee of £5.00 to cover incidental costs which will include a voucher redeemable at the bar for one drink up to the value of £2.50
Beyond the Window takes us out into the world. Here is a poet who engages with place and circumstance, ever thoughtful, his personal journey enriched with experience on three continents. He is not afraid to blend seriousness with humour, to delight us with a beautiful love-lyric, or use his deep inner sense of history and landscape to underpin commentary on issues of today.
John Gilham, Author
Sensitive, rhythmical and sometimes touchingly intimate, Beyond the Window contains a thoughtful mix of relationships and sensations and is enjoyable and moving to read.
Edward Caine, Composer
Beyond The Window reveals that the 'feeling of not belonging' has many compensations. Through the poet's peaceful, unhurried delivery, an authorial authority grows until the reader is convinced.
Paul Sutherland, Editor, Dream Catcher
