Poets James Goodman, John McCullough, Jacqueline Saphra and Kate Potts read from their debut collections.
James Goodman's debut collection 'Claytown' (Salt Publishing) is warm and inventive, with a host of beautifully spare lyrics. He works for the sustainable development charity Forum for the Future.
John McCullough's highly acclaimed debut collection is 'The Frost Fairs' (Salt Publishing). He teaches creative writing for the University of Sussex, the Open University, the Poetry School and the Arvon Foundation.
Jacqueline Saphra is on the board of Magma magazine and was resident poet at Good Housekeeping Online where she wrote a monthly column. Her sensual, sparkling first collection 'The Kitchen of Lovely Contraptions' is published by Flipped Eye and was nominated for the Aldeburgh First Collection Prize.
Kate Potts's luminous first collection is 'Pure Hustle' (Bloodaxe). She teaches creative writing at Morley College and is working towards a PhD on radio poetry.
