Graham Buchan with Amy Neilson Smith, and music from Oliver Janes (clarinet).
A performance of poetry especially written, or adapted, for two voices. Poems by Graham Buchan with additional material from Amy Neilson Smith, and work from the canon by Robert Browning, Hilaire Belloc, Sylvia Plath, Ted Hughes and Anna Akhmatova. Music by Penderecki, Sutermeister, Carter and Kovacs.
Graham Buchan has published two books and a pamphlet with the tall lighthouse, individual poems in many magazines, short stories, travel writing and many film and art reviews.
Amy Neilson Smith is an established actress and newly-published poet. She has appeared in productions for TV and many prestigious theatre companies.
Oliver Janes is a highly accomplished solo, chamber and orchestral musician, equally at home in the baroque, classical and contemporary repertoire.
