Golden Fables 2012

Golden Fables 2012 is an exciting new poetic drama inspired by Lincolnshire’s legends and landscapes.

It fuses words from Archbishop Desmond Tutu with specially-written Fables by poets Ian McMillan, Gillian Clarke, Liz Lochhead and Joel Stickley set to music by Gabriel Prokofiev, Tim Dalling and Luke Carver Goss.

The family-friendly production is performed by the 90-strong Choir Invisible – The Desmond and Leah Tutu Peace Choir alongside actors, images by graphic novelist Kate Brown and live music.

It is produced by Lincoln-based cultural solutions UK and is directed by Susannah Tresilian and is a Cultural Olympiad event.
