A pro-feminist night, men are welcome to perform as long as their material is female friendly; preferably their set could include a piece by a woman author. Performers can read current or forgotten female poets.

The month of July has a theme of travel, be it pedestrian, seabourne, airbourne, car or train....parachuting, bungee jumping.....or other!

Poet of 'Misery Begins at Home' a collaboration with Rachel Bond, Marianne Daniels and Winston Plowes. A veteran performance poet, 'My poetry could be described as quite dark, but I would prefer to say it is reflective, confessional and emotional'.
Cost is £3 this month as we are part of the Manchester Fringe Festival. Paper planes included.
