The Friends of Mesnes Park & The Talent Factory present:
The New Leaf Project!
A celebration of parks and nature through the medium of poetry and spoken word, with music from the Wigan Ukulele Band.
1st Half: Open Mic Poetry or Prose within the themes of Parks/Nature
2nd Half: Readers Choice Open Mic Poetry or Prose
Followed by music from the Wigan Ukelele Band
Come down to the Pavillion Cafe and join the fun! There will be a picnic so feel free to bring along something to eat, or food is available inside the cafe. This is an all weather event, so come rain or shine, there's plenty of fun to be had!
Best of all, it's absolutely FREE!!
