OpenMind return to Fuel Bar to celebrate our 2nd anniversary, exactly 2 years since the first ever OpenMind event at Earth Cafe.


To celebrate our 2nd anniversary we've created a few elements that pay homage to this number. Entry will be £2, we've got 2 headliners, 2 guests per genre, and raffle tickets will be 2 for the price of 1.


As always we'll begin the evening with the most diverse open mic in town - the anything goes OpenSpace where performers and artists of all kinds can strut their stuff in 5 minute slots.

Freddie Pitts of Z Silent Z will be giving us a rare acoustic showcase.


The terrific twosome DeviousMinds return to OpenMind to drop some lyrical bombs with hip hop flair.


OpenMind's 2nd birthday will have a strong musical pulse with these two diverse musical guests.


Gordon Zola is known throughout the NorthWest poetry scene for his wit and cheeky charm whether he's telling us about the women he's known or giving us enough cheese to keep Wallace and Gromit happy for a lifetime.


Midnight Shelley has been dazzling audiences in Yorkshire and the NorthWest with potent poetry and powerful poised delivery.


With two phenomenal poets lined up, the poetry pulse of OpenMind will also be beating strongly.

Amphibolous is an experimental trio featuring turntables, objects & fx, and cello.


The OpenMind Collective will be represented by Terminus Infinite, GrIm, and Ushiku Crisafulli with music, performance art and poetry celebrating our 2nd birthday loudly and proudly.
